As a Form of Social Care, JTT Distributes Aid for Communities Affected by the Semeru Eruption

Lumajang (01/12) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) together with PT Jasamarga Pandaan Malang (JPM) distributed logistical assistance to communities affected by the eruption of Mount Semeru. This aid demonstrates the company’s social responsibility and concern for residents who are currently facing an emergency response situation.

The aid was delivered by representatives of the JPM team to the Emergency Response Post for the 2025 Mount Semeru Eruption located in Pronojiwo District, Lumajang Regency. The assistance includes various essential food items and basic logistics needed to support post operations and meet the daily needs of the survivors.

“In emergency situations like this, collaboration and compassion are what communities need the most. JTT is committed to being present among the people in any condition. Through the aid we deliver together with PT JPM, we hope it can help ease the needs of residents and strengthen the spirit of the survivors in Pronojiwo,” said Ria Marlinda Paallo, VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT JTT.

Representative of BPBD Lumajang, Yunuki Cahyono, appreciated the swift action of JTT and JPM in providing support. “We are grateful for this very beneficial assistance. The presence of JTT and JPM in the field shows that the people of Pronojiwo are not facing this disaster alone,” he said.

Through this assistance, JTT and JPM aim to connect hearts with communities affected by the Mount Semeru eruption, strengthen recovery efforts, and support emergency response operations carried out by volunteers, local government, and BPBD. JTT Group remains committed to being present and synergizing during disaster situations to help communities recover and rise again.
