Monitoring Traffic Volume, JTT Conducts Gradual Lane Normalization on Palimanan–Kanci Section

Cirebon (30/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) continues to conduct intensive monitoring of traffic volume during the return period of Idulfitri 1447H/2026. In line with current traffic conditions and under Police discretion, JTT is implementing gradual lane normalization, which has reached the Palimanan–Kanci Toll Road Section (Palikanci).

This normalization follows the previous implementation of traffic management measures in the form of local one-way traffic from KM 263 Pejagan–Pemalang Toll Road to KM 70 Cikampek Utama Toll Gate.

At the time this information is released, access toward the Java direction is also being opened via Ciperna Barat Toll Gate as part of the normalization stages.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that this normalization step is a follow-up to an adaptive traffic management strategy. “JTT, together with the Police, consistently monitors the development of vehicle volume in the field. Lane normalization is carried out gradually in accordance with increasingly favorable traffic conditions, while prioritizing the safety and comfort of road users,” explained Ria.

JTT ensures that all operational services remain on alert, including monitoring through the information control center and real-time CCTV support along the toll sections. Field officers are also continuously deployed to anticipate any traffic dynamics that may occur during the return period.

JTT urges all road users to plan their trips carefully, ensure vehicles are in optimal condition, and verify sufficient electronic toll card balance before traveling. Road users are also expected to comply with road signs and instructions from officers in the field.
