High Public Enthusiasm During Labor Day Long Holiday, 71 Thousand Vehicles Dominate Eastbound Traffic at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate

Cikampek (02/05) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Road (JTT) recorded an increase in traffic volume during the 2026 Labor Day long holiday period. From Thursday, April 30, 2026, to Friday, May 1, 2026, a total of 71,558 vehicles were recorded traveling toward the eastern Trans Java region via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate. This figure represents an increase of 19.21% compared to normal traffic of 60,026 vehicles.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Road, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, “Meanwhile, vehicles traveling from the eastern Trans Java region toward Jakarta via Cikampek Utama Toll Gate reached 56,758 vehicles, an increase of 4.08% compared to normal traffic of 54,533 vehicles,” said Ria.

Traffic volume increases were also observed across several toll road sections managed by the JTT Group in Central Java and East Java regions.

Central Java Region
a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading toward Semarang recorded 38,791 vehicles (up 10.88% from normal traffic of 34,984 vehicles). Meanwhile, vehicles leaving Semarang recorded 26,497 vehicles (down 11.78% from normal traffic of 30,034 vehicles).

b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
Traffic toward Solo recorded 57,655 vehicles (up 23.31% from normal traffic of 46,757 vehicles). Meanwhile, traffic toward Jakarta reached 37,533 vehicles (up 8.91% from normal traffic of 34,461 vehicles).

East Java Region
a. Warugunung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading toward Surabaya recorded 38,988 vehicles (down 2.35% from normal traffic of 39,927 vehicles), while traffic toward Jakarta reached 40,601 vehicles (up 4.47% from normal traffic of 38,863 vehicles).

b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
A total of 67,954 vehicles headed toward Malang (up 48.71% from normal traffic of 45,697 vehicles), and 48,858 vehicles headed toward Surabaya (up 5.24% from normal traffic of 46,427 vehicles).

c. Singosari Toll Gate
Vehicles heading toward Malang recorded 32,290 vehicles (up 22.84% from normal traffic of 26,286 vehicles), while traffic toward Surabaya reached 25,801 vehicles (up 10.64% from normal traffic of 23,319 vehicles).

PT JTT urges all Trans Java toll road users to prioritize safety, plan their journeys properly, ensure that both vehicles and drivers are in prime condition, and confirm sufficient fuel and electronic toll card balances before traveling.
