Maintaining Infrastructure Reliability, JTT Conducts Routine Maintenance on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road

Cikampek (22/05) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) continues to carry out routine maintenance activities on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road as part of the company’s commitment to maintaining infrastructure quality and ensuring road users can travel safely, comfortably, and smoothly. This preventive maintenance is conducted regularly considering the high vehicle mobility along one of the strategic sections of the Trans Java Toll Road network.

Senior Manager Representative Office 1 of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Amri Sanusi, stated that JTT will carry out pavement reconstruction works at several locations to maintain optimal road conditions for road users.

“As part of efforts to maintain toll road service quality, JTT will conduct pavement reconstruction works at several points along the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road, including:

• Karawang Timur 1 Off Ramp, lane 1 and outer shoulder, from Thursday (21/05) at 07:00 WIB until Tuesday (26/05) at 12:00 AM WIB;

• Karawang Timur 2 Off Ramp, lane 1, from Friday (22/05) at 10:00 PM WIB until Monday (25/05) at 05:00 AM WIB.

During the work period, traffic management will be implemented situationally to ensure road user safety and maintain smooth traffic flow,” said Amri.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, explained that the routine maintenance activities are preventive measures consistently carried out by the company to maintain optimal toll road service standards amid high daily traffic activity.

“Through these routine maintenance activities, JTT continues its efforts to maintain toll road conditions so they remain reliable, safe, and comfortable for road users. We are committed to ensuring that the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road continues to support public mobility and logistics distribution smoothly and sustainably,” said Ria.

Ria added that throughout the maintenance period, JTT continues to prioritize smooth traffic flow by preparing situational traffic engineering schemes and ensuring work areas are equipped with safety devices in accordance with operational standards. Information regarding the maintenance works is also disseminated through Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), Jasa Marga Group’s official social media channels, and advisory banners around the work locations.

“We apologize for any inconvenience that road users may experience during the maintenance works. Road users are advised to plan their journeys properly, ensure both vehicles and drivers are in prime condition, maintain safe driving distances, and comply with traffic signs as well as officers’ instructions in the field,” Ria concluded.
