Increased Labor Day Holiday Mobility, 99 Thousand Vehicles Head East via Cikampek Utama Toll Gate

Cikampek (03/05) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Road (JTT) recorded an increase in traffic volume during the 2026 Labor Day long holiday period. During the period of D-1 to D+1 (April 30 – May 2, 2026), a total of 99,109 vehicles were recorded traveling toward the eastern Trans Java region via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate. This figure represents an increase of 7.61% compared to normal traffic of 92,096 vehicles.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Road, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, “Meanwhile, vehicles traveling from the eastern Trans Java region toward Jakarta via Cikampek Utama Toll Gate reached 86,575 vehicles, an increase of 5.49% compared to normal traffic of 82,072 vehicles,” said Ria.

Traffic volume increases were also observed across several toll road sections managed by the JTT Group in Central Java and East Java regions.

Central Java Region
a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading toward Semarang recorded 51,755 vehicles (down 1.58% from normal traffic of 52,584 vehicles). Meanwhile, vehicles leaving Semarang recorded 40,047 vehicles (down 10.45% from normal traffic of 44,722 vehicles).

b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
Traffic toward Solo recorded 80,821 vehicles (up 8.57% from normal traffic of 74,439 vehicles). Meanwhile, traffic toward Jakarta reached 58,634 vehicles (up 8.51% from normal traffic of 54,035 vehicles).

East Java Region
a. Warugunung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading toward Surabaya recorded 58,399 vehicles (down 4.82% from normal traffic of 61,359 vehicles), while traffic toward Jakarta reached 57,311 vehicles (down 2.83% from normal traffic of 58,978 vehicles).

b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
A total of 94,677 vehicles headed toward Malang (up 27.12% from normal traffic of 74,479 vehicles), and 76,864 vehicles headed toward Surabaya (up 4.30% from normal traffic of 73,696 vehicles).

c. Singosari Toll Gate
Vehicles heading toward Malang recorded 49,430 vehicles (up 12.33% from normal traffic of 44,004 vehicles), while traffic toward Surabaya reached 41,863 vehicles (up 12.02% from normal traffic of 37,370 vehicles).

PT JTT urges all Trans Java toll road users to prioritize safety, plan their journeys properly, ensure that both vehicles and drivers are in prime condition, and confirm sufficient fuel and electronic toll card balances before traveling.
