618 Thousand Vehicles Pass GT Cikampek Utama up to H+8, Idulfitri Return Traffic Remains High
Cikampek (30/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded that return traffic for Idulfitri 1447H/2026 from the Eastern Trans Java region toward Jakarta continues to show high volume as it enters H+8. During the period from Eid Day (Hari H) to H+8 Idulfitri (March 21–29, 2026), a total of 618,966 vehicles passed toward Jakarta through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT). This represents a significant increase of 139.08% compared to normal traffic of 258,897 vehicles.
Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, “Based on traffic data from H-10 to H+8 (March 11–29, 2026), a total of 795,031 vehicles departed from the Eastern Trans Java region, an increase of 48.79% compared to normal traffic of 534,342 vehicles. Meanwhile, during Shift 1 on March 30, 2026, a total of 15,568 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 84.41% from normal traffic of 8,442 vehicles. These data indicate that return traffic from the Eastern Trans Java region is still ongoing,” explained Ria.
Ria added, “Along with the normalization of traffic management under Police discretion on the Trans Java toll roads, JTT continues to optimize service at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate by operating 22 toll booths for Jakarta-bound traffic and 8 toll booths for Java-bound traffic. In addition, through PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang, JTT still applies a 23% toll discount for all transactions on the Batang–Semarang Toll Road, valid until March 31, 2026. This policy is expected to provide direct benefits to road users,” said Ria.
