Traffic Volume Increases, 22 Toll Booths Operated to Serve Vehicles Heading to Jakarta
Cikampek (28/12) – Anticipating an increase in traffic volume heading toward Jakarta, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has optimized transaction services by operating a total of 22 toll booths at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road starting from the beginning of Shift 2 at 14:00 WIB. This measure is taken to ensure smooth traffic flow and maintain user comfort amid increased public mobility.
An increase in traffic volume has been observed in line with high travel activity, particularly during weekends and long holiday periods. The operation of toll booths is carried out situationally and adjusted to on-site traffic conditions in order to minimize vehicle queues at toll gates, especially those heading toward Jakarta.
PT JTT explained that the readiness of transaction services is part of the company’s commitment to delivering excellent service to toll road users. Along with the increasing traffic volume toward Jakarta, JTT ensures that service capacity at toll gates remains optimal by operating 22 toll booths. Our officers are on full standby to maintain smooth transactions and user comfort.
In addition to optimizing toll booth operations, JTT has also deployed traffic service officers in the field and continues to monitor traffic conditions in real time. Traffic information is delivered through Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and official information channels as part of the company’s commitment to providing fast and accurate information to toll road users.
JTT urges toll road users to prepare their journeys properly, ensure sufficient balance on electronic toll cards, and comply with traffic signs as well as instructions from officers in the field for smooth traffic flow and shared safety.
