Ahead of Isra Mikraj Holiday, JTT Predicts 288 Thousand Vehicles Heading to the Eastern Trans Java Region via Cikampek Utama Toll Gate and Prepares Optimal Services
Cikampek (15/01) – Ahead of the long holiday in commemoration of Isra Mikraj of Prophet Muhammad SAW, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) projects that 288,440 vehicles, or an increase of 12.69% compared to normal traffic, will travel toward the Eastern Trans Java region through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate. To anticipate the potential increase in mobility, JTT has prepared various service readiness measures to ensure that toll road users’ journeys along the Trans Java sections remain safe, smooth, and comfortable.
As part of anticipating the increase in public mobility, JTT is conducting intensive monitoring of traffic conditions and ensuring the readiness of all operational facilities, ranging from transaction services at toll gates, the preparedness of field officers, to the optimization of road safety facilities.

From the readiness of field officers and toll road facilities to information services for road users, all are optimized to ensure that the public’s journey can take place safely, comfortably, and smoothly.”
In facing the potential increase in traffic volume during the Isra Mikraj of Prophet Muhammad SAW long holiday, PT JTT optimizes the utilization of available toll booths by prioritizing the effectiveness of existing operational resources. On the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road section, JTT operates 35 toll gates with a total of 209 booths, supported by 66 Mobile Reader (MR) units. Meanwhile, the Palimanan–Kanci (Palikanci) Toll Road section is supported by 7 toll gates with 33 booths and 33 MR units, the Semarang Toll Road Sections A, B, and C operate 9 toll gates with 37 booths and 15 MR units, and the Surabaya–Gempol (Surgem) Toll Road section is supported by 18 toll gates with 122 booths and 44 MR units. The optimization of transaction services is carried out through adjustments to on-site traffic patterns to ensure smooth and comfortable journeys for road users.
To support driving safety, JTT also ensures the readiness of rest areas spread along the Trans Java sections so they can be optimally utilized by road users as places to rest. JTT advises road users to plan their travel time properly, make use of rest areas to rest when feeling fatigued, and always comply with traffic signs and directions from officers in the field.
JTT also continues to coordinate with the Police and related agencies in traffic management, including the readiness to implement traffic engineering measures if necessary, in order to maintain smooth vehicle flow during the long holiday period.
