Three Favorite Trans Java Toll Gates Serve More Than One Million Vehicles During the 2025/2026 Christmas and New Year Holiday Period
Cikampek (07/01) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll (JTT) recorded the successful delivery of operational services at three favorite Trans Java toll gates that served as major traffic nodes during the homecoming and return flows of the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year (Nataru) holiday period. These three toll gates represent West Java, Central Java, and East Java regions, namely Cikampek Utama Toll Gate, Banyumanik Toll Gate, and Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate, which consistently served hundreds of thousands of vehicles safely, comfortably, and smoothly.
Cikampek Utama Toll Gate, managed by PT JTT, plays a strategic role as the main gateway for vehicle movement to and from the Trans Java Region (West Java). Meanwhile, Banyumanik Toll Gate, managed by PT Trans Marga Jateng, serves as a key traffic connector in Central Java, while Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate plays an important role as a primary access point in East Java.
Based on traffic data during the Nataru holiday period from December 18, 2025 to January 5, 2026, the total number of vehicles passing through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate reached 1,309,062 vehicles. This figure represents the cumulative total of vehicles traveling toward the Eastern Trans Java Region, amounting to 696,653 vehicles, an increase of 31.32% compared to normal traffic of 530,519 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles traveling from the Eastern Trans Java Region totaled 612,409 vehicles, or an increase of 17.54% compared to normal traffic of 521,043 vehicles.
In Central Java, the volume of vehicles passing through Banyumanik Toll Gate was recorded at 1,082,345 vehicles. This figure represents the cumulative total of vehicles traveling toward Solo, amounting to 584,121 vehicles, an increase of 39.41% compared to normal traffic of 419,001 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles traveling toward Jakarta totaled 498,224 vehicles, or an increase of 46.38% compared to normal traffic of 340,360 vehicles.
Meanwhile, Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate, representing the East Java region, also recorded a significant increase in traffic volume during the Nataru period, with a cumulative total of 1,068,712 vehicles. Of this total, vehicles traveling toward Malang amounted to 530,284 vehicles, an increase of 23.48% compared to normal traffic of 429,432 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles traveling toward Surabaya totaled 538,428 vehicles, or an increase of 18.59% compared to normal traffic of 454,029 vehicles, reflecting the high level of public mobility to and from the East Java region during the extended holiday period.
The successful management of traffic flows at these three favorite toll gates cannot be separated from the commitment of JTT and all Trans Java Toll Road Business Entities (BUJT) to serve wholeheartedly, through strengthening service capacity, ensuring field personnel readiness, implementing situational traffic management measures, and delivering real-time traffic information to road users.
PT JTT extends its appreciation to all stakeholders, field operational personnel, and information service teams who worked with high dedication throughout the Nataru period. With the spirit of wholehearted service, we strive to ensure that every journey undertaken by road users is safe, comfortable, and smooth.
PT JTT also appreciates the discipline of road users who complied with traffic regulations and followed directions from officers in the field. Synergy among toll road operators, authorities, media, and road users is key to delivering shared benefits and strengthening hopes for safe, comfortable, and smooth travel along the Trans Java corridor.
