Traffic Volume Increases, JTT Implements Contraflow from KM 55 to KM 65 Toward Cikampek on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road

Cikampek (01/05) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Road (JTT) supports the Police’s discretion by implementing a traffic engineering scheme in the form of a contraflow from KM 55 to KM 65 toward Cikampek on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road, starting at 10:04 WIB, in anticipation of increased vehicle volume heading toward the eastern Trans Java region during the 2026 Labor Day long holiday period.

The contraflow traffic scheme is implemented situationally based on real-time traffic conditions in the field and coordination between JTT and the Police to maintain traffic flow and ensure road user safety.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Road, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the implementation of contraflow is one of the strategic measures to alleviate congestion toward Cikampek. “The implementation of a one-lane contraflow from KM 55 to KM 65 toward Cikampek is carried out under Police discretion as an effort to maintain smooth traffic flow toward the eastern Trans Java region. JTT, together with the Police, continues to closely monitor traffic conditions to ensure that traffic management runs optimally,” said Ria.

JTT urges all Trans Java toll road users to prioritize safety while driving by ensuring that both drivers and vehicles are in proper condition before starting their journey. Road users are also expected to maintain safe distances, observe traffic signs, and follow officers’ instructions on site, especially when navigating traffic engineering schemes.

In addition, road users are advised to anticipate potential weather changes during their journey, ensure sufficient electronic toll card balances, and plan their trips accordingly. The latest traffic information can be accessed through the Travoy application, official social media channels of Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Road, and the Jasa Marga One Call Center at 133.
