Ensuring Smooth Traffic Flow, JTT Supports Implementation of Contraflow from KM 55 to KM 47 on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road

Cikampek (05/04) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) supports the Police’s discretion by implementing a traffic engineering measure in the form of a contraflow from KM 55 to KM 47 toward Jakarta on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road starting at 16:36 WIB. This measure was taken as an effort to reduce congestion and maintain the smooth flow of traffic heading toward the Jakarta area.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the implementation of contraflow is a strategic measure to maintain traffic flow amid the increased traffic volume during the long holiday period of the Commemoration of the Death of Jesus Christ and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ (Easter). “JTT, together with the Police, continues to monitor traffic conditions in real time and take anticipatory measures to ensure that traffic flow remains smooth, safe, and under control,” said Ria.

JTT urges all road users to plan their travel time carefully, ensure that their vehicles are in prime condition, and verify sufficient electronic toll balance before entering the toll road. Road users are also expected to always comply with traffic signs and follow the instructions of officers on duty.
