Cirebon (22/09) – The Palimanan–Kanci Toll Road, commonly known as the Palikanci Toll Road, is an important route that provides real benefits for the people of West Java. Managed by PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT), this 26.3 km toll road has served road users since January 1998 and continues to be a vital part of the Trans Java Toll Road network.

The presence of the Palikanci Toll Road makes it easier for the public to carry out daily or long-distance travel. With the connection of this route to the Kanci–Pejagan Toll Road on the east side and the Cikopo–Palimanan Toll Road on the west side, cross-province travel becomes shorter, safer, and more comfortable.

“Palikanci Toll Road has proven to reduce travel time, both for the public and the logistics sector. For example, a trip from Cirebon to Majalengka, which normally takes nearly 1 hour via the national road, can now be completed in only about 35 minutes through the Palikanci Toll Road,” explained Ria Marlinda Paallo, Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol.

This benefit is strongly felt by the community—from workers traveling across regencies, business owners requiring fast access, to families traveling for leisure. The presence of rest areas at KM 207A and KM 208B also provides added convenience, allowing road users to rest safely during their trips.

Beyond improving daily mobility, the Palikanci Toll Road also drives the regional economy. This route supports the distribution of industrial, agricultural, and fisheries products. The shrimp aquaculture sector—one of Indonesia’s leading export commodities—also benefits because shipments can be delivered faster, logistics costs become more efficient, and product quality is better maintained until it reaches markets or export ports.
