Deliver Optimal Service, Ciperna Toll Gate on the Palimanan–Kanci Toll Road Supports Smooth Traffic Access to Linggarjati Tourism Area
Cirebon (12/08) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT), as the operator of the Palimanan–Kanci (Palikanci) Toll Road, continues to maintain its commitment to providing optimal service for road users, including supporting smooth traffic flow towards various tourist destinations. One of these efforts is through the management of the Ciperna Barat Toll Gate (GT) and Ciperna Timur Toll Gate, which serve as strategic access points to the historical and natural tourism area of Linggarjati, Kuningan, West Java, while also connecting traffic flows from Jakarta and Central Java.
The presence of GT Ciperna not only facilitates tourists heading to Linggarjati but also serves as an important junction for vehicle movement toward downtown Cirebon, industrial zones, and various other destinations across Kuningan and its surrounding regions. Linggarjati is known as a historical tourist destination with significant diplomatic value in Indonesia’s history, while also offering refreshing mountain scenery. Smooth toll road access allows tourists to save travel time, enabling them to enjoy more of the historical and natural attractions in the area.
VP Corporate Secretary & Legal PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, explained, “During the period from the first quarter to the middle of the third quarter of 2025, GT Ciperna Barat successfully served more than one million vehicles. This number reflects a consistently increasing trend in line with the high mobility of the public, particularly those traveling to tourist areas and major activity centers in the Cirebon region, including Linggarjati as a historical tourism destination that is a source of regional pride,” said Ria.
Ria emphasized that the presence of toll gates in the Palikanci segment not only supports local community mobility but also drives the growth of the regional tourism sector. “We understand the importance of toll road infrastructure in facilitating access to tourist destinations. Through optimal service at the toll gates, we hope to enhance road user comfort while contributing positively to the regional economy through the tourism sector,” she added.
In addition, JTT remains committed to deploying operational and traffic service personnel 24 hours a day to ensure the safety and smooth travel of road users, especially during periods of increased traffic volume such as holidays or weekends. Updated traffic information is also disseminated through various channels, including social media and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) along the toll road.
With integrated services, the Palimanan–Kanci Toll Road is expected to remain a preferred route for tourists traveling to various destinations, including historical sites such as Linggarjati, as well as other tourism areas in Kuningan and Cirebon. It also plays an important role in ensuring safe, comfortable, and efficient travel for all road users.
