Spirit of Connecting the Nation: PT JTT Strengthens Connectivity, Unites Indonesia Through the Trans Java Toll Road

Bekasi (22/08) – In the momentum of the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) reaffirms its commitment to continuously strengthening national connectivity across the Trans Java toll road network. Over eight years of operation, PT JTT has played a central role in supporting the movement of people and the distribution of logistics through strategic toll road sections stretching from the western to the eastern regions of Java Island.

Aligned with the spirit of the 80th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, JTT ensures that the Trans Java Toll Road continues to serve as a driver of economic renewal and sustainability, while shaping a sustainable toll road business portfolio. Since its operation in 2017, this strategic infrastructure has shortened travel time, reduced logistics costs, and opened vital access to ports, industrial areas, and leading tourism destinations. For eight years, JTT has been present in every significant national moment—supporting smooth traffic flow during Eid homecoming, Christmas and New Year holidays, and national logistics distribution—made possible through synergy between the company, the government, strategic partners, and toll road users.

VP Corporate Secretary & Legal PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, "Since its establishment, PT JTT has been a testament to our commitment to connecting every corner of the nation. Ria added that amid various challenges, JTT remains consistent in maintaining and managing its toll road portfolio, which forms a crucial part of the national infrastructure network. Covering more than 676 km of toll road sections along Trans Java—managed directly or indirectly—PT JTT continues to demonstrate excellent operational performance and reliable services for toll road users.

"The toll road business portfolio we manage is a strategic asset that we preserve with full commitment. The sustainability of this management is supported by the application of modern technology, high-standard infrastructure maintenance, and optimized services for users. These pillars are essential in supporting long-term connectivity and national economic development,” Ria explained.

Beyond its role as a toll road operator, PT JTT continues to innovate in service delivery, enhance efficiency through operational digitalization, and actively empower local MSMEs through rest area management. This makes the Trans Java Toll Road not only a transportation route but also an economic driver that directly benefits surrounding communities.
