GT Cikatama Optimized, 22 Toll Booths Operated to Serve Vehicles Heading Toward Eastern Trans Java
Bekasi (25/12) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has optimized transaction services at Cikatama Toll Gate (GT Cikatama) by increasing the number of operational toll booths from 17 to 22 to serve vehicles traveling toward Eastern Trans Java. This measure is implemented to improve traffic flow and minimize vehicle queues at this strategic point.
The optimization focuses on traffic originating from the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road that continues onto the Trans Java Toll Road network, in line with the increased traffic volume during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holiday period. The additional toll booths are expected to accelerate transaction processes and enhance travel convenience for toll road users.
Accordingly, the seven reversible toll booths at GT Cikatama are optimally operated and designated to serve vehicles traveling toward Eastern Trans Java, as part of an adaptive transaction service arrangement in response to the rising traffic volume.
Meanwhile, to accommodate vehicles traveling from Eastern Trans Java toward Jakarta, JTT operates eight toll booths at GT Cikatama. The allocation of toll booths is managed dynamically and adjusted to real-time traffic conditions to ensure balanced traffic distribution in both directions.
In addition to toll booth optimization, JTT has also deployed transaction service officers and traffic control personnel to ensure smooth operational performance. Traffic conditions are monitored intensively and in real time as part of efforts to maintain traffic flow and user safety.
JTT advises Trans Java toll road users to prioritize safety, ensure sufficient electronic toll balance before entering toll gates, and comply with traffic signs and directions from on-site officers for collective traffic smoothness.
As part of its commitment to delivering excellent service, JTT continues to coordinate with relevant stakeholders and conduct continuous evaluations to ensure traffic flow at GT Cikatama remains safe, orderly, and smooth.
