H+3 Return Flow Mobility Remains Under Control, 239 Thousand Vehicles from East Trans Java Pass Through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate

Cikampek (25/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll (JTT) recorded high public mobility during the Idulfitri 1447H/2026 return flow period from the East Trans Java region toward Jakarta. During the period from Day H to H+3 of Idulfitri (March 21–24, 2026), a total of 239,383 vehicles were recorded traveling toward Jakarta via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT). This traffic volume increased significantly by 108.44% compared to normal traffic of 114,843 vehicles.

Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, “Meanwhile, based on traffic data from the H-10 to H+3 period (March 11–24, 2026), a total of 415,448 vehicles were recorded from the East Trans Java region, an increase of 6.45% compared to normal traffic of 390,288 vehicles. Meanwhile, based on shift 1 data on March 25, 2026, a total of 23,921 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 193.15% compared to the normal volume of 8,160 vehicles. This high traffic volume indicates that the return flow movement is still ongoing and is expected to continue increasing. In line with these conditions, JTT together with the Police had implemented sectional one way traffic engineering from KM 263 of the Pejagan–Pemalang Toll Road to KM 70 of the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road, as well as situational open-close local one way from KM 425+800 of the Semarang Section A,B,C Toll Road to KM 414 of the Kalikangkung Toll Gate on the Batang–Semarang Toll Road to maintain smooth traffic flow and minimize congestion potential along the Trans Java Toll Road,” explained Ria.

Ria added, “To anticipate the increase in traffic volume during the return flow, JTT provides alternative travel options for road users by reapplying a 30% toll discount for continuous journeys from the Kalikangkung Toll Gate on the Batang–Semarang Toll Road to the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road on March 26, 2026, from 00:00 WIB to March 27, 2026, at 24:00 WIB. In addition, a 23% toll discount for all transactions on the Batang–Semarang Toll Road remains in effect from March 12 to March 31, 2026. This policy is expected to help distribute traffic more evenly while providing direct benefits to road users,” said Ria.

Meanwhile, for vehicles heading toward the East Trans Java region via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate, a total of 184,146 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 65.88% compared to normal traffic of 111,011 vehicles.

An increase in traffic volume was also observed on several toll road sections managed by the JTT Group in Central Java and East Java.

Central Java Region
a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
Vehicles leaving Semarang were recorded at 163,113 vehicles (an increase of 164.50% from the normal 61,668 vehicles). Meanwhile, vehicles heading toward Semarang were recorded at 100,838 vehicles (an increase of 66.93% from the normal 60,407 vehicles).

b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
Traffic heading toward Jakarta reached 178,376 vehicles (an increase of 131.12% from the normal 77,180 vehicles). Meanwhile, traffic toward Solo reached 154,252 vehicles (an increase of 70.59% from the normal 90,425 vehicles).

East Java Region
a. Warugunung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading toward Jakarta were recorded at 135,524 vehicles (an increase of 81.99% from the normal 74,467 vehicles), while traffic toward Surabaya reached 152,210 vehicles (an increase of 88.66% from the normal 80,680 vehicles).

b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
A total of 161,923 vehicles headed toward Surabaya (an increase of 60.82% from the normal 100,686 vehicles), and 156,779 vehicles headed toward Malang (an increase of 66.76% from the normal 94,012 vehicles).

c. Singosari Toll Gate
Vehicles heading toward Surabaya were recorded at 93,683 vehicles (an increase of 74.77% from the normal 53,604 vehicles), while traffic toward Malang reached 82,493 vehicles (an increase of 52.12% from the normal 54,230 vehicles).
