Exploring East Java: JTT Delivers Tourism Journeys with Wholehearted Service
Ngawi (03/01) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll (JTT) actively supports regional tourism growth through the provision of reliable, sustainable, and service-oriented toll road infrastructure. Travel journeys to various leading destinations in East Java now begin closer and are more seamlessly connected from the western part of the province through the strategic Ngawi–Kertosono Toll Road corridor, part of the JTT Group, which serves as a key gateway for Trans Java connectivity to the heart of East Java.
The presence of the Ngawi–Kertosono Toll Road represents a tangible step by the JTT Group in accelerating public mobility, shortening travel distances, reducing travel time, and encouraging more evenly distributed tourism flows across East Java. This section not only connects the western and central regions of the province, but also drives local economic activity through improved accessibility to tourist destinations.
Through increasingly integrated connectivity, tourists can now more easily and quickly reach destinations in Madiun City and surrounding areas, which offer a rich blend of cultural, culinary, and natural attractions. Each journey forms part of the JTT Group’s ongoing efforts to promote safe, comfortable, and memorable tourism travel, supported by services delivered with wholehearted care.
The 2025/2026 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holiday period served as a catalyst for a significant increase in tourism-related mobility. In line with the high enthusiasm for travel during this period, JTT recorded a surge in traffic volume on the Ngawi–Kertosono Toll Road from December 18, 2025 to January 2, 2026, with a total of 98,227 vehicles passing through Madiun Toll Gate. This increase underscores public confidence in toll roads as the backbone of efficient tourism travel, while also highlighting the strategic role of toll road infrastructure in stimulating regional tourism activity.
VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the JTT Group continues to prioritize service readiness as the foundation of the tourism travel experience. “We do not merely operate a toll road network, but deliver journeys to various destinations. Through infrastructure readiness, the presence of field personnel, and consistent service, the JTT Group strives to ensure that every tourism journey in East Java begins with a sense of safety, comfort, and wholehearted service,” said Ria.
As part of the JTT Group in the East Java region, toll road operations are managed through a proactive and anticipatory approach, encompassing operational readiness, strengthened field services, and the provision of travel-supporting facilities that directly enhance road user safety and comfort. In this way, tourism journeys do not simply conclude at their destinations, but offer a positive driving experience from the very start of the trip.
Going forward, JTT will continue to strengthen cross-sector synergy with local governments and tourism stakeholders to support sustainable regional economic growth. From the western gateway of East Java to leading destinations throughout the province, the JTT Group stands as a driver of connectivity, accompanying every step of the public’s tourism journey with wholehearted service.
