Wholeheartedly Safeguarding New Year’s Eve Travel, JTT Records 299 Thousand Vehicles Heading to the Eastern Trans Java Region
Cikampek (01/01) – As a form of its commitment to providing wholehearted service during the New Year’s Eve period, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll (JTT) recorded an increase in traffic volume heading toward the Eastern Trans Java region. During the H-2 to H-1 New Year 2026 holiday period (December 30–31, 2025), a total of 299,454 vehicles were recorded traveling toward the Eastern Trans Java region, an increase of 38.17% compared to normal traffic of 216,725 vehicles. This figure represents the cumulative traffic volume passing through six main toll gates in the Trans Java region, namely Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (toward Trans Java), Kalikangkung Toll Gate (toward Semarang), Banyumanik Toll Gate (toward Solo), Warugunung Toll Gate (toward Surabaya), Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate (toward Malang), and Singosari Toll Gate (toward Malang).
Details of the increased traffic volume on toll road sections managed by JTT in West Java, Central Java, and East Java are as follows:
1.West Java Region
a. Cikampek Utama Toll Gate
During the H-2 to H-1 New Year 2026 holiday period, a total of 69,180 vehicles passed through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate, an increase of 28.56% compared to normal traffic of 53,811 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles traveling from the Eastern Trans Java region totaled 55,660 vehicles, an increase of 9.06% compared to normal traffic of 51,038 vehicles.
2.Central Java Region
a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
The volume of vehicles heading toward Semarang through Kalikangkung Toll Gate during the H-2 to H-1 New Year 2026 holiday period reached 38,670 vehicles, an increase of 41.34% compared to normal traffic of 27,359 vehicles. Vehicles leaving Semarang totaled 40,540 vehicles, an increase of 55.81% compared to normal traffic of 26,019 vehicles.
b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
During the H-2 to H-1 New Year 2026 holiday period, a total of 57,618 vehicles headed toward Solo through Banyumanik Toll Gate, an increase of 50.25% compared to normal traffic of 38,347 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles heading toward Jakarta totaled 48,128 vehicles, an increase of 51.88% compared to normal traffic of 31,689 vehicles.
3.East Java Region
a. Warugunung Toll Gate
During the H-2 to H-1 New Year 2026 holiday period, a total of 41,500 vehicles headed toward Surabaya through Warugunung Toll Gate, an increase of 16.38% compared to normal traffic of 35,659 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles heading toward Jakarta through Warugunung Toll Gate totaled 45,134 vehicles, an increase of 29.14% compared to normal traffic of 34,949 vehicles.
b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
During the H-2 to H-1 New Year 2026 holiday period, a total of 59,149 vehicles headed toward Malang, an increase of 51.77% compared to normal traffic of 38,973 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles heading toward Surabaya totaled 49,105 vehicles, an increase of 17.46% compared to normal traffic of 41,804 vehicles.
c. Singosari Toll Gate
During the H-2 to H-1 New Year 2026 holiday period, a total of 33,337 vehicles headed toward Malang, an increase of 47.67% compared to normal traffic of 22,576 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles heading toward Surabaya totaled 27,090 vehicles, an increase of 28.86% compared to normal traffic of 21,022 vehicles.
PT JTT advises Trans Java toll road users to prioritize safety, choose appropriate travel times, and ensure that both vehicles and drivers are in optimal condition. Road users are also encouraged to ensure sufficient battery power and fuel, as well as adequate electronic toll balance, and to always comply with traffic signs and follow instructions from on-site officers for the safety of all.
