Still Within the Nataru 2025/2026 Period, Traffic Flow Toward Trans-Java Remains High
Cikampek (27/12) – Since the start of the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year (Nataru 2025/2026) holiday period, public enthusiasm for traveling toward the Eastern Trans-Java region has remained relatively high. PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded an increase in traffic volume from H-7 to H+1 (18–26 December 2025), with a total of 391,177 vehicles passing toward the Eastern Trans-Java region through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT Cikampek Utama), representing an increase of 45.96% compared to normal traffic of 268,006 vehicles.
Meanwhile, vehicles traveling from the Eastern Trans-Java region totaled 257,755 vehicles, an increase of 1.09% compared to normal traffic of 254,983 vehicles.
Traffic volume was also observed to increase on toll road sections managed by JTT in Central Java and East Java as follows:
1. Central Java Region
a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
The volume of vehicles traveling toward Semarang through Kalikangkung Toll Gate during H-7 to H+1 of the Nataru 2025/2026 holiday period reached 235,342 vehicles, or increased by 63.50% compared to normal traffic of 143,937 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles departing from Semarang totaled 166,632 vehicles, an increase of 27.50% compared to normal traffic of 130,691 vehicles.
b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
During H-7 to H+1 of the Nataru 2025/2026 holiday period, a total of 313,468 vehicles traveled toward Solo through Banyumanik Toll Gate, an increase of 52.70% compared to normal traffic of 205,288 vehicles. Vehicles traveling toward Jakarta totaled 214,451 vehicles, or increased by 30.30% compared to normal traffic of 164,582 vehicles.
2. East Java Region
a. Warugunung Toll Gate
During H-7 to H+1 of the Nataru 2025/2026 holiday period, a total of 224,688 vehicles traveled toward Surabaya through Warugunung Toll Gate, an increase of 26.82% compared to normal traffic of 177,172 vehicles. Vehicles traveling toward Jakarta through Warugunung Toll Gate totaled 216,948 vehicles, an increase of 22.47% compared to normal traffic of 177,149 vehicles.
b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
During H-7 to H+1 of the Nataru 2025/2026 holiday period, a total of 267,496 vehicles traveled toward Malang, an increase of 28.29% compared to normal traffic of 208,510 vehicles. Vehicles traveling toward Surabaya totaled 256,047 vehicles, an increase of 17.18% compared to normal traffic of 218,511 vehicles.
c. Singosari Toll Gate
During H-7 to H+1 of the Nataru 2025/2026 holiday period, a total of 148,238 vehicles traveled toward Malang, an increase of 20.64% compared to normal traffic of 122,879 vehicles. Vehicles traveling toward Surabaya totaled 135,901 vehicles, an increase of 19.57% compared to normal traffic of 113,656 vehicles.
PT JTT urges Trans-Java toll road users to prioritize safety, choose appropriate travel times, and ensure both vehicles and drivers are in prime condition. Road users are also advised to ensure sufficient battery power and fuel, adequate electronic toll balance, and to always comply with traffic signs and instructions from officers on duty for shared safety.
