Traffic Returns to Normal, Traffic Engineering on Trans Java Toll Road Discontinued

Cikampek (25/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Road (JTT), in coordination with the Police, has adjusted traffic engineering measures on several sections of the Trans Java Toll Road as traffic flow conditions have gradually returned to normal during the Idulfitri 1447H/2026 return flow period.

Based on Police discretion, traffic engineering measures that had previously been implemented in stages have now been discontinued. The local one way traffic scheme from KM 425+800 of the Semarang Section A, B, C Toll Road to KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Gate (GT) of the Batang–Semarang Toll Road was terminated at 15:20 WIB. Subsequently, the partial one way scheme from KM 263 of the Pejagan–Pemalang Toll Road to KM 70 Cikampek Utama Toll Gate of the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road was also terminated at 18:02 WIB.

With the discontinuation of these traffic engineering measures, traffic conditions on the Trans Java Toll Road are currently observed to have returned to normal and can be accessed by vehicles in both directions. Furthermore, JTT together with the Police will continue to intensively monitor traffic conditions to ensure that road users’ journeys remain safe and smooth.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Road, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that throughout the Idulfitri 1447H/2026 homecoming and return flow period, several toll road sections directly managed by JTT—such as the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road, Palimanan–Kanci Toll Road, and Semarang Section A, B, C Toll Road—had undergone several adjustments in traffic engineering, including contraflow and one way schemes, to anticipate increased vehicle volumes toward Jakarta as well as the eastern Trans Java region. “As traffic conditions have gradually returned to normal, the national one way scheme from KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Gate to KM 70 Cikampek Utama Toll Gate has been terminated. Meanwhile, the contraflow traffic scheme at KM 47 to KM 70 toward Jakarta on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road has also been normalized,” said Ria.

Ria also urged all Trans Java toll road users to continue prioritizing safety while driving by ensuring that both driver and vehicle are in prime condition, maintaining a safe distance, and ensuring sufficient electronic toll balance before traveling. Road users are also expected to follow the instructions of officers in the field and comply with applicable traffic signs.
