Traffic Conditions Return to Normal, Contraflow from KM 55 to KM 65 Towards Cikatama Terminated

Cikampek (14/05) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT), together with the Police, has normalized traffic engineering measures by terminating the contraflow scheme from KM 55 to KM 65 towards Cikampek on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road at 12.10 WIB. The termination of the contraflow scheme was carried out in line with traffic conditions gradually returning to normal during the 2026 Ascension of Jesus Christ long holiday period.

As of now, traffic conditions on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road have returned to normal and traffic flow in both directions is observed to be smooth despite high vehicle activity.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the normalization was the result of intensive traffic monitoring in the field. “JTT continuously monitors traffic volume and coordinates with the Police. Along with vehicle flow becoming more evenly distributed, the situational contraflow scheme that had been implemented since 08.11 WIB has now been terminated. However, we continue to monitor the situation closely, and our officers remain on standby should further traffic engineering measures become necessary,” said Ria.

JTT continues to urge road users to prioritize safety while driving, maintain safe distances, and comply with traffic signs as well as officers’ instructions in the field. Road users are also advised to ensure sufficient electronic money balance and confirm that their vehicles are in prime condition before traveling.
