Traffic Returns to Normal, Contraflow from KM 55 to KM 47 Toward Jakarta Terminated

Cikampek (05/04) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT), in coordination with the Police, has normalized traffic management by terminating the contraflow from KM 55 to KM 47 toward Jakarta on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road at 20:06 WIB. The termination of the contraflow was implemented in line with traffic conditions that have gradually returned to normal during the long holiday period of the Commemoration of the Death of Jesus Christ and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ (Easter).

As of now, traffic conditions on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road have returned to normal and are observed to be flowing smoothly with moderate traffic volume in both directions.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that this normalization is the result of intensive monitoring of traffic conditions in the field. “JTT, together with the Police, continues to conduct periodic evaluations of traffic conditions. As vehicle volumes have become more evenly distributed, the contraflow has been terminated and traffic operations have returned to normal to ensure the comfort of road users,” said Ria.

JTT continues to urge road users to always prioritize safety while driving, maintain a safe distance, and comply with traffic signs as well as the instructions of officers on duty. Road users are also encouraged to ensure sufficient electronic toll balance and that their vehicles are in prime condition before starting their journey.
