JTT Enhances Toll Road Handling to Ensure Safe and Comfortable Travel for Road Users
Cikampek (05/02) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) continues to optimize toll road maintenance by addressing various priority segments based on road condition monitoring results. This step reflects the company’s commitment to delivering safe and comfortable journeys while supporting smooth public mobility along the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road.
In line with dynamic weather conditions and high traffic volumes, JTT ensures that any potential pavement disturbances are identified at an early stage through routine and comprehensive field inspections. This remains a key focus for JTT, particularly as periodic rainfall continues across several operational areas. Monitoring results serve as the basis for determining measured handling and maintenance actions, while maintaining due consideration for road user safety and traffic flow.
As part of this ongoing maintenance program, JTT consistently carries out road handling and patching works across several priority segments. All works are implemented with coordinated traffic management and safety measures in accordance with operational standards, ensuring that toll road services remain operational and safely accessible throughout the work process.
As part of the maintenance realization, from Monday to Tuesday, February 2–3, 2026, JTT conducted patching works at 685 points on Line A toward Cikampek and 225 points on Line B toward Jakarta. These maintenance activities form part of JTT’s continuous efforts to preserve pavement quality and ensure service reliability along the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road.
In addition to the works carried out on February 2 and 3, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, JTT completed patching works at 169 points on Line A toward Cikampek, covering KM 18+200 to KM 66+100, and 108 points on Line B toward Jakarta, covering KM 72+200 to KM 26+100. All treated segments remain under intensive supervision through routine field inspections to ensure pavement conditions remain serviceable and safe for road users.
As a follow-up measure, on Thursday, February 5, 2026, JTT has prepared plans for further patching works at several priority segments based on the latest evaluation and field inspection results. The planned works include 31 points on Line A toward Cikampek, covering KM 10+200 to KM 68+200, and 37 points on Line B toward Jakarta, covering KM 66+300 to KM 18+460. All works are scheduled to be carried out with strict adherence to occupational safety, road user safety, and traffic flow management.
Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that JTT understands the concerns and inconvenience that road users may experience during the work process. Therefore, in addition to carrying out maintenance activities, JTT deploys operational personnel in the field 24 hours a day to ensure a swift response should further road handling be required.
“We conduct maintenance on an ongoing basis as part of our efforts to maintain road quality and user safety. Amid weather challenges, including periodic rainfall, as well as heavy traffic conditions, we continue striving to maintain a balance between operational continuity and road user safety,” said Ria.
Ria added that as part of this commitment, JTT continues to strengthen internal coordination, ensure the readiness of equipment and materials, and optimize road safety facilities and information services for road users. JTT’s operational strategies are consistently adjusted in line with evolving field conditions.
“Each work activity is carried out in a measured and careful manner, while maintaining work quality and minimizing impact on traffic flow, without compromising safety aspects,” she explained.
JTT extends its apologies to all road users for any inconvenience that may arise during the work process. JTT urges road users to remain cautious, maintain a safe distance, and comply with traffic signs and on-site officers’ instructions, particularly when passing through work areas and during rainy weather conditions. JTT also appreciates the public’s active role in providing reports and information regarding road conditions, which plays an important part in supporting faster handling and continuous service quality improvement.
As a form of protection for road users, JTT affirms that compensation may be provided if vehicle damage is proven to have been caused by toll road conditions and all applicable procedures and requirements have been fulfilled. For reporting and follow-up, road users may contact on-site officers, the 24-hour Jasa Marga One Call Center at 14080, or the TRAVOY application available on iOS and Android.
