Comprehensive Operational Services, JTT Serves 175 Thousand Road Users Across the Trans Java Toll Road

Cikampek (17/02) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded high public mobility during the 2026 Lunar New Year Holiday period. During the D-4 to D-Day period (February 13–17, 2026), a total of 175,205 vehicles were recorded traveling toward the Eastern Trans Java region through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT). This figure represents a 22.42% increase compared to normal traffic of 143,116 vehicles, indicating a significant rise in public travel throughout the holiday period.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that traffic volume also increased in the opposite direction. “Vehicles traveling from the Eastern Trans Java region toward Jakarta through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate reached 172,637 vehicles, or 20.39% higher than the normal traffic of 143,402 vehicles,” explained Ria.

Furthermore, Ria added that throughout this long weekend period, JTT continued to carry out road maintenance activities in a measured and selective manner to maintain service quality. “Despite the increase in traffic volume, including both outbound and return flows that exceeded initial projections, we ensured that maintenance activities were conducted with proper scheduling and operational traffic management, taking into account real-time traffic conditions so as not to disrupt road users’ journeys,” she added.

Ria emphasized that JTT also optimized operational readiness, including the deployment of additional traffic service personnel, the preparedness of tow truck and ambulance fleets, and intensive coordination with stakeholders to anticipate the surge in vehicle volume during this extended holiday period.

Traffic volume also showed an increase on toll road sections managed by the JTT Group in the Central Java and East Java regions.

During the same period, vehicles heading toward Semarang reached 99,671 vehicles (up 26.07% from the normal 79,062 vehicles). Meanwhile, vehicles leaving Semarang totaled 96,019 vehicles (up 24.77% from the normal 76,959 vehicles).

PT JTT urges Trans Java toll road users to continue prioritizing safety, plan their journeys carefully, ensure that both vehicle and driver are in prime condition, and check sufficient fuel and electronic toll balance before traveling. Compliance with traffic signs and officers’ instructions in the field is essential to ensure smooth traffic flow and collective safety.

Traffic condition information across the Jasa Marga Group toll road network can be accessed through the 24-hour One Call Center at 14080 and the Travoy application (iOS & Android).
