JTT Ensures Operational Service Readiness Ahead of the 2026 Ascension Day Long Holiday
Bekasi (13/05) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has ensured the readiness of operational services across all toll road sections under its management in anticipation of the 2026 Ascension Day long holiday period. Various anticipatory measures have been prepared to ensure road users can travel safely, comfortably, and smoothly amid increased public mobility during the holiday period.
Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that JTT has carried out various operational preparations, including traffic services and optimization of supporting facilities across strategic Trans Java toll road sections.
“JTT is committed to ensuring the readiness of operational services during the Ascension Day long holiday period through the optimization of transaction services, traffic management, as well as the preparedness of officers and facilities in the field. All these measures are carried out to provide a sense of safety and comfort for road users throughout their journey. In addition, we also ensure that traffic information and travel conditions are continuously updated through various information channels to assist road users in planning their journeys during this long holiday period,” said Ria.
JTT has ensured the readiness of transaction booths and operational officers at major toll gates, particularly on toll road sections with potential traffic volume increases such as the Jakarta–Cikampek, Palimanan–Kanci, Batang–Semarang, Semarang ABC, and Surabaya–Gempol Toll Roads. In addition, JTT has ensured the readiness of traffic service fleets, including 29 towing vehicles, 7 ambulances, 6 rescue vehicles, 17 Highway Patrol (PJR) units, and 19 Mobile Customer Service (MCS) units operating on 24-hour standby.
Traffic conditions are monitored in real-time through CCTV systems integrated with the information control center to ensure quick responses to field conditions. The latest traffic information is also disseminated to road users through Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) located at several strategic points along the toll road sections.
As part of efforts to maintain smooth traffic flow, JTT continues to coordinate intensively with the Police and related stakeholders in anticipating traffic congestion through the implementation of situational traffic engineering measures whenever necessary.
In addition to operational service readiness, JTT also ensures that rest area facilities along the Trans Java toll road sections operate optimally. Rest areas remain open 24 hours with adequate public facilities such as parking areas, toilets, prayer rooms, fuel stations, EV charging stations, dining areas, and rest facilities for road users.
Ria added that JTT also urges road users to prepare their journeys properly before entering the toll road. “We encourage road users to ensure that both vehicles and drivers are in prime condition, check fuel availability and electronic money balance, and plan their travel time properly. If feeling fatigued, road users are encouraged to utilize rest areas to rest in order to maintain travel safety,” added Ria.
For the latest traffic information on Jasa Marga Group toll roads, road users may contact the 24-hour Jasa Marga One Call Center at 133 or access the TRAVOY application available on iOS and Android.
