JTT Issues Clarification Regarding a Circulating Video of a Pothole Road on Social Media

Cirebon (30/12) – In response to the circulation of a video on social media showing a pothole road condition and linking it to the Palimanan–Kanci (Palikanci) Toll Road section, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) provides clarification regarding the uploaded video.

Based on the tracing and technical evaluation conducted, the road location shown in the video is not part of the Palikanci Toll Road section managed by JTT. The Palikanci Toll Road section under JTT’s management spans from KM 189 to KM 214, while the location mentioned in the uploaded video lies outside JTT’s management area.

JTT appreciates the public’s attention and concern regarding driving safety on toll roads and remains committed to maintaining service quality and infrastructure to support safe and comfortable travel for all road users.

VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, explained that this clarification is necessary to ensure that the information received by the public remains accurate and does not cause misunderstanding. “We would like to clarify that the road location shown in the circulating video on social media is not part of the Palikanci Toll Road managed by JTT. Nevertheless, JTT consistently carries out routine and continuous maintenance and evaluation of toll road conditions across all sections under our management to ensure the safety and comfort of road users,” said Ria.

As part of its service commitment, JTT also continues to coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure that any potential disturbances can be handled promptly and appropriately in accordance with applicable procedures.

Furthermore, Ria urged the public to always verify the accuracy of circulating information. “We encourage the public and toll road users to verify the accuracy of the information they receive, particularly information circulating on social media, and to carefully identify the location and operator of the toll road section in question. Official information regarding traffic conditions and toll road services can be accessed through the official communication channels of the Jasa Marga Group,” she added.
