JTT Continues Road Maintenance Works as Part of Efforts to Maintain Smooth Mobility for Road Users

Cikampek (09/05) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) continues to carry out preventive maintenance activities on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road as part of efforts to maintain infrastructure quality and ensure safe and comfortable travel for road users. These activities are conducted periodically considering that the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road is one of the busiest sections within the Trans Java Toll Road network.

Senior Manager Representative Office 1 of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Amri Sanusi, stated that as part of efforts to maintain toll road service quality, JTT will carry out maintenance activities in the form of pavement reconstruction works on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road.

“In line with our commitment to maintaining infrastructure reliability, JTT has scheduled pavement reconstruction works at two locations, namely:

• Off Ramp Cikarang Utara on the B carriageway towards Jakarta, specifically on lane 1 and the outer shoulder, from Friday (08/05) at 22.00 WIB until Wednesday (08/05) at 12.00 WIB; and

• KM 35+082 to KM 34+977 on the B carriageway towards Jakarta, specifically on the outer shoulder lane, from Sunday (10/05) at 22.00 WIB until Wednesday (13/05) at 05.00 WIB.

During the work period, situational traffic management arrangements will be implemented to ensure road user safety and maintain smooth traffic flow,” said Amri.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that these maintenance activities are part of the company’s commitment to maintaining optimal toll road service standards amid the high intensity of daily traffic volume.

“This routine maintenance serves as a preventive measure consistently carried out by JTT to maintain toll road quality so that it remains reliable and comfortable for road users. We aim to ensure that the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road continues to support public mobility safely, smoothly, and sustainably,” said Ria.

Ria added that throughout the work period, JTT continues to prioritize smooth traffic flow by preparing traffic management schemes and ensuring that work areas are equipped with safety devices in accordance with operational standards. Information regarding the works will also be disseminated through Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), official social media channels, and advisory banners around the work locations.

“We also apologize for any potential inconvenience during the work period. JTT urges road users to anticipate travel time, ensure their vehicles are in prime condition, maintain safe driving distances, and comply with traffic signs and officers’ instructions on site,” concluded Ria.
