Supporting Smooth Return Flow, Local One Way from KM 425+800 Semarang ABC to Kalikangkung Toll Gate Implemented

Semarang (28/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT), in coordination with the Police, implemented a traffic engineering scheme in the form of a local one way from KM 425+800 of the Semarang Toll Road Sections A, B, C to KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Gate on the Batang–Semarang Toll Road on Saturday (28/03) at 14:48 WIB.

The implementation of this traffic engineering measure is a proactive step to manage the increase in vehicle volume during the Eid al-Fitr 1447H/2026 return flow period, particularly in the Central Java region.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that JTT fully supports the traffic engineering policy established by the Police to maintain smooth traffic flow. “The implementation of this local one way is part of a collaborative effort to ensure that the return flow can proceed smoothly, safely, and in a controlled manner,” said Ria.

In its execution, JTT together with the Police continues to manage and monitor vehicle flow directly. Personnel have been deployed to ensure the safety of road users while also providing visual guidance during the implementation of the traffic engineering.

JTT has also optimized operational services through real-time CCTV monitoring, which can be accessed by road users via the Travoy application, and ensured the readiness of supporting facilities such as road signs, traffic cones, and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) as information media for road users.

JTT urges all road users to plan their travel time and routes carefully, ensure that their vehicles are in prime condition, and ensure sufficient electronic toll balance before entering the toll road. Road users are also advised to comply with traffic signs and follow the instructions of officers on site.
