Supporting the Smooth Return Flow of Idulfitri 1447H/2026, Today JTT Implements Toll Tariff Discounts on Trans Java Toll Road

Cikampek (26/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll (JTT) once again delivers added value in its operational services by implementing toll tariff discounts on the Trans Java Toll Road during the Idulfitri 1447H/2026 return flow period. This policy reflects Jasa Marga Group’s strong commitment to supporting smooth public mobility while reinforcing the role of toll roads as the backbone of national connectivity during the Lebaran period.

Through the implementation of these toll discounts, JTT not only encourages a more even distribution of traffic but also provides direct economic benefits to road users in the form of travel cost efficiency. This strategic step is expected to help reduce congestion during peak return flow hours, while creating a smoother, safer, and more comfortable journey for people returning from their hometowns.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that this toll discount program is implemented during the return flow period to encourage a more even traffic distribution and reduce congestion potential during peak travel times. “A 30% toll discount is applied from March 26, 2026, at 00:00 WIB until March 27, 2026, at 24:00 WIB for all vehicle categories making continuous trips using electronic money, with sufficient balance ensured. This toll discount is granted to road users traveling continuously from Semarang via the Kalikangkung Toll Gate (GT) on the Batang–Semarang Toll Road toward Jakarta via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road,” explained Ria.

Ria added, “Specifically on the Batang–Semarang section managed by PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang (JSB), road users making continuous trips will receive an additional discount, bringing the total toll discount to approximately 46%. In addition, JSB has already implemented a toll discount of around 23% for all transactions on the Batang–Semarang Toll Road from March 12 to March 31, 2026. This aims to ensure that the benefits of the discount are felt by road users along the main Trans Java corridor, particularly on routes that serve as key arteries of public mobility during the Lebaran period,” said Ria.

Furthermore, Ria explained that this policy not only provides economic stimulus for the public but also forms part of traffic management strategies in handling mobility surges during the Idulfitri period. With toll discounts applied during certain periods, it is expected that people can be more flexible in planning their travel times so that vehicle movement is not concentrated at a single time. “Through this toll discount policy, we hope the public can better plan their journeys and take advantage of traveling outside peak periods of both the homecoming and return flow, so traffic distribution becomes more balanced. Thus, travel on the Trans Java Toll Road is expected to remain smooth, safe, and comfortable for all road users,” said Ria.

JTT urges all Trans Java toll road users to continue prioritizing safety and plan their journeys carefully before entering the toll road, especially during periods with potential traffic volume surges. Road users are expected to ensure that both vehicle and driver are in prime condition, ensure sufficient fuel and electronic money balance, and comply with traffic signs and instructions from officers on site.
