Supporting Police Discretion, JTT Implements Local One Way from KM 425 Semarang Toll Road Sections A, B, C to KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Gate, Batang–Semarang Toll Road
Semarang (24/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) supports the implementation of a local one-way traffic engineering scheme under police discretion on the Semarang Toll Road Sections A, B, C to the Batang–Semarang Toll Road, in anticipation of increased traffic volume during the Eid al-Fitr 1447H/2026 return flow period.
The local one-way traffic scheme is implemented from KM 425+800 of the Semarang Toll Road Sections A, B, C to KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Gate on the Batang–Semarang Toll Road, starting at 10:12 WIB. This policy is enforced to facilitate smoother traffic flow toward Jakarta during the return flow period.
Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that JTT fully supports the traffic engineering measures established by the Police by ensuring operational readiness in the field.
“We have prepared several operational measures agreed upon with the Police. To alleviate congestion on toll roads around the Semarang area, a one-way scheme has been implemented. To support this, JTT has deployed operational personnel and ensured the readiness of infrastructure and facilities required for the implementation of the one-way system,” said Ria.
To support operational efficiency during the implementation of the local one-way scheme on the Semarang Toll Road Sections A, B, C, JTT ensures the readiness of toll transaction services with a total of 9 toll gates equipped with 37 toll booths and OAB, along with the support of 17 mobile reader units to accelerate vehicle transactions.
JTT urges all road users to comply with traffic signs and instructions from officers in the field, ensure that their vehicles are in proper condition, and plan their journeys carefully. Road users are also advised to use rest areas wisely and take breaks if feeling fatigued to ensure a safe and comfortable journey to their destination.
