Under Police Discretion, JTT Supports the Implementation of Local One Way from KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Gate to KM 442 Bawen Toll Gate

Semarang (18/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) supports the implementation of traffic engineering in the form of a local one way scheme under Police discretion on the Batang–Semarang Toll Road Section through to the Semarang–Solo Toll Road Section in anticipation of increased vehicle volume during the Idulfitri 1447H/2026 homecoming period.

The local one way traffic engineering is implemented from KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Gate on the Batang–Semarang Toll Road Section to KM 442 Bawen Toll Gate on the Semarang–Solo Toll Road Section, starting at 16.35 WIB. This policy is applied to facilitate the flow of vehicles heading towards Bawen, Solo, and Surabaya during the homecoming period.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that JTT fully supports the implementation of traffic engineering measures established by the Police by ensuring operational readiness on the ground.

“The implementation of this local one way scheme is a strategic step to alleviate traffic congestion along the main homecoming routes towards Central Java and East Java. JTT has deployed operational personnel and ensured the readiness of facilities and infrastructure to support the smooth execution of this traffic engineering measure,” said Ria.

JTT urges all road users to comply with traffic signs and instructions from officers on duty, ensure that their vehicles are in optimal condition, and plan their journeys properly. Road users are also encouraged to make wise use of rest areas and take breaks if they feel fatigued to ensure a safe and comfortable journey to their destination.
