Christmas Return Flow: 36 Thousand Vehicles from the Eastern Trans-Java Region Pass Through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate

Cikampek (28/12) – During the H+2 period of the 2025 Christmas holiday, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol recorded an increase in traffic volume originating from the Eastern Trans-Java region. A total of 36,301 vehicles from the Eastern Trans-Java region passed through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT Cikampek Utama), an increase of 28.70% compared to normal traffic of 28,205 vehicles.

Meanwhile, vehicles traveling toward the Eastern Trans-Java region also remained relatively high, with a total of 40,904 vehicles recorded, an increase of 23.19% compared to normal traffic of 33,204 vehicles.

Traffic volume was also observed to increase on toll road sections managed by JTT in Central Java and East Java as follows:
1. Central Java Region
a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
The volume of vehicles departing from Semarang through Kalikangkung Toll Gate during the H+2 period of the 2025 Christmas holiday reached 26,143 vehicles, or increased by 75.37% compared to normal traffic of 14,907 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles traveling toward Semarang totaled 23,791 vehicles, an increase of 23.63% compared to normal traffic of 19,244 vehicles.

b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
During the H+2 period of the 2025 Christmas holiday, a total of 33,906 vehicles traveled toward Jakarta through Banyumanik Toll Gate, an increase of 66.65% compared to normal traffic of 20,346 vehicles. Vehicles traveling toward Solo totaled 37,914 vehicles, an increase of 32.80% compared to normal traffic of 28,550 vehicles.

2. East Java Region
a. Warugunung Toll Gate
During the H+2 period of the 2025 Christmas holiday, a total of 25,133 vehicles traveled toward Jakarta through Warugunung Toll Gate, an increase of 3.09% compared to normal traffic of 24,379 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles traveling toward Surabaya through Warugunung Toll Gate totaled 26,491 vehicles, an increase of 25.85% compared to normal traffic of 21,050 vehicles.

b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
During the H+2 period of the 2025 Christmas holiday, a total of 33,655 vehicles traveled toward Surabaya, an increase of 14.87% compared to normal traffic of 29,299 vehicles. Vehicles traveling toward Malang totaled 31,864 vehicles, an increase of 2.27% compared to normal traffic of 31,158 vehicles.

c. Singosari Toll Gate
During the H+2 period of the 2025 Christmas holiday, a total of 18,212 vehicles traveled toward Surabaya, an increase of 18.51% compared to normal traffic of 15,368 vehicles. Meanwhile, vehicles traveling toward Malang totaled 19,468 vehicles, a decrease of 0.13% compared to normal traffic of 19,494 vehicles.

PT JTT urges Trans-Java toll road users to prioritize safety, choose appropriate travel times, and ensure that both vehicles and drivers are in prime condition. Road users are also advised to ensure sufficient battery power and fuel, adequate electronic toll balance, and to always comply with traffic signs and instructions from officers on duty for shared safety.
