Return Flow of Labor Day Holiday Intensifies, Vehicles from Eastern Trans Java Increase by 21% at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate
Cikampek (04/05) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded an increase in traffic volume during the return flow period of the 2026 Labor Day long holiday. On H+2 (May 3, 2026) of the 2026 Labor Day holiday, a total of 43,854 vehicles traveling from the Eastern Trans Java region towards Jakarta passed through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT Cikampek Utama). This figure increased by 21.10% compared to the normal traffic volume of 36,214 vehicles.
Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, “Meanwhile, the number of vehicles traveling towards the Eastern Trans Java region through GT Cikampek Utama during the same period reached 24,875 vehicles, a decrease of 7.22% compared to the normal traffic volume of 26,812 vehicles,” said Ria.
The increase in traffic volume was also observed on several toll road sections managed by the JTT Group in the Central Java and East Java regions.
Central Java Region
a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
Vehicles leaving Semarang reached 20,760 vehicles (up 12.84% from the normal volume of 18,397 vehicles). Meanwhile, vehicles heading towards Semarang were recorded at 13,405 vehicles (down 15.19% from the normal volume of 15,805 vehicles).
b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
Traffic heading towards Jakarta reached 28,621 vehicles (up 16.30% from the normal volume of 24,610 vehicles). Meanwhile, traffic towards Solo reached 23,851 vehicles (down 7.00% from the normal volume of 25,647 vehicles).
East Java Region
a. Warugunung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading towards Jakarta were recorded at 17,235 vehicles (down 12.40% from the normal volume of 19,674 vehicles), while traffic towards Surabaya reached 22,517 vehicles (down 0.32% from the normal volume of 22,590 vehicles).
b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
A total of 32,838 vehicles were recorded heading towards Surabaya (up 3.72% from the normal volume of 31,659 vehicles), while 24,723 vehicles were heading towards Malang (down 6.33% from the normal volume of 26,393 vehicles).
c. Singosari Toll Gate
Vehicles heading towards Surabaya reached 18,971 vehicles (up 4.31% from the normal volume of 18,187 vehicles), while traffic towards Malang was recorded at 14,254 vehicles (down 1.78% from the normal volume of 14,513 vehicles).
