Anticipating Traffic Increase, JTT Optimizes Operations at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate

Cikampek (02/01) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll (JTT) has taken anticipatory measures following an increase in traffic volume on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road today. The increase in vehicle flow has been observed since 2:00 p.m. WIB, with volumes reaching approximately 2,000 vehicles per hour.

As part of efforts to maintain smooth transactions and ensure user convenience, JTT has optimized services at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate by adjusting the number of operating toll booths, effective from 3:30 p.m. WIB.

The operational arrangement includes the operation of 18 transaction booths toward Jakarta and 12 transaction booths toward the Trans Java direction. This measure is implemented to anticipate potential vehicle queues while ensuring that transaction processes continue to run smoothly amid the gradual increase in traffic volume.

JTT advises road users to prepare their trips properly, ensure sufficient electronic toll balance before entering the toll gate, and comply with traffic signs and follow directions from on-site officers for shared smoothness and safety.

JTT continues to closely monitor traffic conditions and is ready to implement further operational adjustments if necessary, as part of the company’s commitment to delivering toll road services that are safe, smooth, and comfortable for all road users.
