42 Trans-Java Rest Areas of JTT Group on Full Standby, Minister of Environment Reviews Service Readiness
Bekasi (27/12) – As a form of commitment to supporting driving safety along the Trans-Java corridor, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has placed 42 rest areas across all operational sections of the JTT Group on full standby. This measure is intended to encourage road users to make optimal use of rest time during their journeys.
The readiness of these rest area services also received special attention through a visit by the Minister of Environment, who directly reviewed the facilities and operations at one of the Trans-Java rest areas. The visit was conducted to ensure the preparedness of travel support services, including orderly and sustainable waste management, as well as to observe the implementation of clean, safe, and comfortable facility management for road users.
Various supporting facilities are provided to ensure optimal rest, including adequate parking areas, clean and well-maintained toilets, prayer rooms, fuel stations, electric vehicle charging stations (SPKLU), dining areas, and rest areas. Rest area personnel are also on standby to maintain cleanliness, security, and environmental comfort, allowing road users to rest safely before continuing their journey.
Utilizing rest areas is an essential part of driving safety. JTT encourages road users not to push themselves while driving. If feeling tired or drowsy, road users are urged to immediately use rest areas to take a break. Adequate rest helps maintain focus and concentration so that the journey can be continued more safely.
In addition to facility readiness, JTT actively delivers safety messages through various information channels, including advisory signboards along toll roads and rest areas, as well as through the company’s official communication media. These efforts aim to increase road user awareness of the importance of taking regular breaks during travel.
Through the readiness of these 42 rest areas and the support of various stakeholders, JTT reaffirms its commitment not only to providing reliable toll road infrastructure, but also to delivering safer, more comfortable, and safety-oriented journeys for all road users across the Trans-Java network.
