Traffic Volume Continues to Increase, JTT Implements Contraflow KM 55 to KM 70 Toward Cikampek on Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road Section

Cikampek (22/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) supports Police discretion by implementing a traffic engineering scheme in the form of contraflow from KM 55 to KM 70 toward Cikampek on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road at 12:24 WIB to anticipate the increasing traffic volume heading toward the eastern Trans Java region during the Eid al-Fitr 1447H/2026 homecoming period.

The contraflow traffic scheme is implemented situationally based on real-time traffic conditions in the field and coordination between JTT and the Police to maintain smooth traffic flow and ensure road user safety.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the implementation of contraflow is one of the strategic measures to alleviate congestion toward Cikampek. “The implementation of a 2-lane contraflow from KM 55 to KM 70 toward Cikampek is carried out under Police discretion as an effort to maintain smooth traffic flow toward the eastern Trans Java region. JTT, together with the Police, continues to intensively monitor traffic conditions to ensure that traffic management runs optimally,” said Ria.

JTT urges all Trans Java toll road users to prioritize safety while driving by ensuring that both the driver and the vehicle are in optimal condition before starting the journey. Road users are also advised to maintain a safe distance, pay attention to traffic signs, and follow the instructions of officers in the field.

In addition, road users are advised to anticipate potential weather changes during the trip, ensure sufficient electronic toll card balance, and plan their journey properly. The latest traffic information can be accessed through the Travoy application, official social media of Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, and the Jasa Marga One Call Center at 133.
