Traffic Volume Increases, Contraflow Implemented on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road Toward Cikampek

Cikampek (30/05) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) supports the Police's discretionary implementation of a contraflow traffic scheme on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road toward Cikampek to anticipate the increase in vehicle volume heading to the eastern Trans Java region during the 1447 H/2026 Eid al-Adha long holiday period.

Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that, under the Police's discretion, the contraflow scheme was implemented from KM 55 to KM 65 toward Cikampek starting at 09:43 WIB.

“The contraflow scheme has been implemented on a situational basis under the Police's discretion to maintain smooth traffic flow toward the eastern Trans Java region during this long holiday period. JTT, together with the Police, continues to closely monitor traffic conditions in the field and will conduct regular evaluations to adjust the traffic management measures as needed,” said Ria.

JTT urges road users to plan their trips accordingly, ensure their vehicles are roadworthy, have sufficient fuel and electronic money balance, and comply with all traffic signs as well as instructions from officers on duty while the traffic management scheme is in effect.

Ria added, “Road users are encouraged to remain focused and attentive while driving and to make use of the Travoy application to access real-time traffic information, rest area locations, toll road CCTV, and emergency services to support a safe and comfortable journey.”

The latest traffic information and toll road traffic service requests can be accessed through the Jasa Marga One Call Center at 133 and the Travoy application, available for iOS and Android users.
