Efforts to Maintain Traffic Flow, Contraflow from KM 36 to KM 70 Toward Cikampek Implemented

Cikampek (18/03) – In an effort to ensure smooth traffic flow during the Idulfitri 1447H/2026 holiday travel period, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) announces that a contraflow traffic scheme from KM 36 to KM 70 toward Cikampek on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road is being implemented situationally, with an open-close system based on Police discretion.

Previously, the contraflow on this segment had been temporarily closed in response to on-site traffic conditions. After observing an increase in traffic volume, JTT has reinstated the contraflow from KM 36 to KM 70 toward Cikampek, which was reopened at 20:51 WIB under Police discretion to support the smooth flow of vehicles heading toward the eastern Trans Java region.

JTT continues to coordinate intensively with the Police and related agencies in managing traffic to ensure the smoothness and safety of road users’ journeys.

JTT urges all road users to comply with traffic signs and follow officers’ directions in the field, as well as to ensure sufficient electronic toll card balance before traveling. Road users are also encouraged to plan their trips carefully and maintain their vehicles in good condition to ensure a safe and comfortable journey to their destinations.
