Due to High Traffic Volume on the MBZ Elevated Toll Road, PT JJC Implements Situational Access Closure Toward Cikampek

Bekasi (19/03), PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek (PT JJC), as the operator of the Mohamed Bin Zayed (MBZ) Elevated Toll Road, is implementing situational open-close access management toward Cikampek under Police discretion.

As of now, the situational open-close traffic scheme under Police discretion is being applied at entry access points to the MBZ Elevated Toll Road, namely Jati Asih, Kalimalang, and KM 10 A access points. This has been in effect since Thursday (18/03) at 22:24 due to the high volume of vehicles passing through the MBZ Elevated Toll Road, as well as reported disruptions such as vehicle overheating, running out of fuel, flat tires, and other vehicle-related issues.

This traffic management scheme is also implemented to reduce congestion at the KM 48 exit of the MBZ Elevated Toll Road due to the merging traffic from the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road.

PT JJC continues to urge road users traveling on the MBZ Elevated Toll Road to always prioritize safety.

Road users are advised to ensure that both the driver and vehicle are in prime condition, maintain sufficient battery power and fuel (BBM), and anticipate potential weather changes, particularly rain, which may affect visibility and road surface conditions, so that the journey can proceed safely and comfortably to the destination.
