Trans Java Toll Tariff Discounts Still in Effect, JTT Records 228 Thousand Vehicles Heading East via Cikampek Utama Toll Gate

Cikampek (16/03) – The implementation of toll tariff discounts on several Trans Java toll road sections has contributed to increased public mobility towards the eastern region. PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded a total of 228,239 vehicles traveling eastbound through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate during the H-10 to H-6 period (March 11–15, 2026). This traffic volume increased by 56.36% compared to the normal traffic volume of 145,969 vehicles.

Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, “With the ongoing increase in traffic volume, adjustments have been made by opening more toll booths to serve road users heading towards Trans Java. In total, there are 30 operational toll booths serving transactions at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate, consisting of 18 booths towards the Trans Java direction and 12 booths towards Jakarta. The operation of these booths is optimized situationally in accordance with traffic volume conditions to ensure smooth vehicle transactions at the toll gate.”

Ria added that, to date, no traffic engineering measures have been implemented on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road Section, and traffic conditions at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate remain safe and under control.

Ria further explained that, in line with the increase in mobility, Jasa Marga Group has implemented toll tariff discount programs on several Trans Java sections to provide more affordable travel for road users. “One of these includes a 30% discount for road users undertaking continuous journeys from Cikampek Utama Toll Gate to Kalikangkung Toll Gate during the homecoming flow period, which has been in effect since 00.00 WIB on March 15, 2026, until 24.00 WIB on March 16, 2026. Specifically, on the Batang–Semarang Section managed by PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang (JSB), road users will also receive an additional discount, bringing the total toll tariff reduction to approximately 46%. In addition, JSB has already implemented a toll tariff discount of around 23% for all transactions on the Batang–Semarang Section, effective from March 12 to March 31, 2026,” explained Ria.

Meanwhile, vehicles traveling from the eastern Trans Java region towards Jakarta through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate were recorded at 135,629 vehicles, a decrease of 5.85% compared to the normal traffic volume of 144,054 vehicles.

An increase in traffic volume was also observed across several toll road sections managed by the JTT Group in Central Java and East Java.

Central Java Region
a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading towards Semarang were recorded at 122,196 vehicles (up 45.62% from the normal volume of 83,916 vehicles). Meanwhile, vehicles leaving Semarang were recorded at 76,737 vehicles (down 0.58% from the normal volume of 77,184 vehicles).

b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
Traffic heading towards Solo was recorded at 147,703 vehicles (up 22.78% from the normal volume of 120,300 vehicles). Meanwhile, traffic heading towards Jakarta reached 91,480 vehicles (down 3.90% from the normal volume of 95,190 vehicles).

East Java Region
a. Warugunung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading towards Surabaya were recorded at 111,021 vehicles (up 7.74% from the normal volume of 103,041 vehicles), while traffic heading towards Jakarta reached 105,606 vehicles (up 9.16% from the normal volume of 96,748 vehicles).

b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
A total of 113,847 vehicles were recorded heading towards Malang (down 6.69% from the normal volume of 122,010 vehicles), and 118,115 vehicles heading towards Surabaya (down 8.58% from the normal volume of 129,200 vehicles).

c. Singosari Toll Gate
Vehicles heading towards Malang were recorded at 64,679 vehicles (down 8.16% from the normal volume of 70,422 vehicles), while traffic heading towards Surabaya reached 61,690 vehicles (down 6.66% from the normal volume of 66,095 vehicles).

PT JTT urges Trans Java toll road users to continue prioritizing safety, plan their journeys properly, ensure that both vehicle and driver are in optimal condition, and ensure sufficient fuel and electronic money balance before traveling.
