Anticipating the Surge of Homecoming Traffic, JTT Supports Local One Way Traffic Engineering from KM 70 to KM 263 Under Police Discretion
Cikampek (17/03) – In anticipation of increased traffic volume during the Idulfitri 1447H/2026 homecoming period, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) supports the implementation of a local one way traffic engineering scheme from KM 70 of the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road Section to KM 263 of the Pejagan–Pemalang Toll Road Section at 15.18 WIB under Police discretion.
The implementation of this traffic engineering scheme is part of a joint effort between Jasa Marga Group, the Police, and the Ministry of Transportation to maintain the smooth distribution of vehicles heading towards the eastern Trans Java direction, particularly during the peak homecoming period.
JTT has carried out various operational preparations along the Trans Java toll road sections to support the smooth implementation of the one way traffic engineering scheme. These preparations include the placement of traffic signs and traffic cones to support traffic management schemes, deployment of traffic service and security personnel at strategic points, and optimization of toll gate capacity through the readiness of toll booths. In addition, JTT has conducted intensive coordination with the Police regarding the regulation of entry access openings and closures, as well as ensuring the readiness of towing services, ambulances, and toll road patrol units on 24-hour standby to maintain the safety and comfort of road users.
Furthermore, JTT has ensured the readiness of Rest and Service Areas (TIP) or rest areas, including managing capacity through situational opening and closing mechanisms to avoid vehicle congestion within rest areas.
VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that these preparations are part of the company’s commitment to providing optimal service to road users during the homecoming period. “JTT, together with stakeholders, has prepared various anticipatory measures, including support for the situational implementation of one way traffic engineering. We urge road users to plan their journeys properly and follow the instructions of officers on duty for the safety and smooth flow of traffic,” said Ria.
JTT also urges road users to ensure that their vehicles are in optimal condition, ensure sufficient fuel and electronic money balance, and take advantage of toll tariff discounts available during certain periods to help distribute travel time more evenly.
For information, road users can monitor real-time traffic conditions through the Travoy application and contact the Jasa Marga One Call Center at 133 to obtain the latest information regarding toll road travel.
