Deputy Minister of Public Works’ Visit Ahead of Idulfitri 1447H/2026, JTT Strengthens Preservation on Trans Java Toll Road Sections
Cikampek (17/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) continues to strengthen infrastructure preservation efforts on the Trans Java Toll Road to ensure that road conditions remain optimal in supporting smooth public mobility, particularly ahead of the Idulfitri 1447H/2026 homecoming period. This commitment was directly reviewed during a working visit by the Deputy Minister of Public Works of the Republic of Indonesia, Diana Kusumastuti, on Tuesday (17/03) at Rest Area KM 57A and the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate Office.
This visit was conducted to directly observe the readiness of toll road services and the condition of infrastructure on strategic Trans Java sections, which serve as one of the main corridors for public mobility.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister of Public Works was accompanied by the Head of the National Road Implementation Center for DKI Jakarta–West Java, Directorate General of Highways, Rina Kumala Sari, as well as representatives from the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT). Also present were the Director of Operation Services of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk., Yaya Ruhiya, and the Director of Operations of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Pratomo Bimawan Putra.
Director of Operations of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Pratomo Bimawan Putra, stated that JTT consistently carries out toll road preservation efforts through routine maintenance programs to maintain optimal pavement quality. “As part of efforts to maintain the comfort and safety of road users, JTT has deployed 35 patching teams across all Trans Java Toll Road sections managed by the company. These teams are tasked with responding promptly to potential pavement damage to ensure that road conditions remain well-maintained and safe for travel,” said Bima.
In addition to ensuring that toll road conditions remain optimal, JTT continues to enhance service quality at rest areas as supporting facilities for road users, particularly during the Lebaran homecoming period. These service improvements include parking capacity management, enhancement of cleanliness and comfort of public facilities, and optimization of services for road users resting at rest areas.
Bima added that infrastructure preservation measures and improvements in rest area services are key components of JTT’s operational readiness in anticipating increased public mobility during the Ramadan to Idulfitri period.
Furthermore, JTT continues to strengthen operational service readiness through the optimization of transaction services at toll gates and intensive coordination with stakeholders to ensure that road user journeys along the Trans Java Toll Road remain safe, comfortable, and smooth.
Through this working visit, it is expected that synergy between the Government and toll road business entities can continue to be strengthened in maintaining toll road infrastructure quality while ensuring the best services for road users.
