More Affordable Homecoming Travel! Toll Tariff Discount Implemented, 62 Thousand Vehicles Have Moved Eastbound

Cikampek (13/03) – Ahead of the Idulfitri 1447H/2026 holiday period, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded an increase in vehicle mobility heading towards the eastern part of the Trans Java corridor. During the H-10 to H-9 period (March 11–12, 2026), a total of 62,503 vehicles were recorded traveling eastbound through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate, an increase of 13.68% compared to the normal traffic volume of 54,982 vehicles.

To anticipate the increase in traffic volume, JTT operated 16 toll booths at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate to maintain smooth transactions and reduce the potential for vehicle queues heading towards the eastern Trans Java direction. Meanwhile, vehicles traveling from the eastern Trans Java region towards Jakarta via Cikampek Utama Toll Gate were recorded at 56,391 vehicles, an increase of 8.98% compared to the normal traffic volume of 51,742 vehicles.

Amid the increasing public mobility, several toll road sections managed by Jasamarga Transjawa Tol are implementing a toll tariff discount program to provide more affordable travel while also helping to distribute traffic flow more evenly during the Eid homecoming and return flow period.

VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that road users can take advantage of toll tariff discounts of up to 23% during the homecoming and return flow periods on the Batang–Semarang Section. “One of JTT’s subsidiaries, PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang (JSB), which manages the Batang–Semarang Section, is implementing a toll tariff discount of approximately 23% for all transactions conducted at toll gates along the Batang–Semarang Section, effective from March 12 to March 31, 2026,” said Ria.

JTT also continues to monitor the increase in vehicle volume observed across several toll road sections managed by the JTT Group in Central Java and East Java.
Central Java Region
a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading towards Semarang were recorded at 34,496 vehicles (up 8.29% from the normal volume of 31,856 vehicles). Meanwhile, vehicles leaving Semarang were recorded at 29,366 vehicles (up 1.94% from the normal volume of 28,808 vehicles).

b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
Traffic heading towards Solo was recorded at 44,356 vehicles (up 6.91% from the normal volume of 41,491 vehicles). Meanwhile, traffic heading towards Jakarta reached 34,670 vehicles (up 6.26% from the normal volume of 32,629 vehicles).

East Java Region
a. Warugunung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading towards Surabaya were recorded at 40,620 vehicles (up 6.27% from the normal volume of 38,225 vehicles), while traffic heading towards Jakarta reached 38,659 vehicles (up 6.45% from the normal volume of 36,317 vehicles).

b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
A total of 40,029 vehicles were recorded heading towards Malang (down 5.71% from the normal volume of 42,454 vehicles), and 40,322 vehicles heading towards Surabaya (down 13.14% from the normal volume of 46,420 vehicles).

c. Singosari Toll Gate
Vehicles heading towards Malang were recorded at 23,276 vehicles (down 2.10% from the normal volume of 23,775 vehicles), while traffic heading towards Surabaya reached 22,194 vehicles (up 2.06% from the normal volume of 21,746 vehicles).

JTT continues to urge Trans Java toll road users to prioritize safety, plan their journeys properly, ensure that both vehicle and driver are in optimal condition, and ensure sufficient fuel and electronic money balance before traveling.
