Eid al-Fitr 1447H/2026 Eve Momentum, 661 Thousand Vehicles Head Toward Eastern Trans Java

Cikampek (21/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded public mobility during the Idulfitri 1447H/2026 homecoming period toward the eastern Trans Java region. During the H-10 to H-1 period of Idulfitri (March 11–20, 2026), a total of 661,258 vehicles were recorded traveling eastbound through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT). This traffic volume increased significantly by 131.87% compared to the normal traffic volume of 285,185 vehicles.

Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, “Based on traffic data from shift 1 on Saturday (21/03), a total of 19,254 vehicles were recorded traveling eastbound through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate. This figure increased by 55.15% compared to the normal traffic volume of 12,410 vehicles. To maintain smooth traffic flow, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, in coordination with the Police, temporarily implemented a contraflow traffic scheme from KM 47 to KM 70 toward Cikampek on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road based on police discretion,” explained Ria.

Ria added, “There is still strong public enthusiasm for traveling toward the eastern Trans Java region. Therefore, a 23% toll discount for all transactions on the Batang–Semarang Toll Road section remains in effect from March 12 to March 31, 2026. This policy is expected to help distribute traffic flow while also providing direct benefits to road users,” said Ria.

Meanwhile, the number of vehicles traveling from the eastern Trans Java region toward Jakarta through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate decreased to 176,065 vehicles, down 36.08% compared to the normal traffic volume of 275,445 vehicles.

An increase in traffic volume was also observed on several toll road sections managed by JTT Group in Central Java and East Java.

Central Java Region
a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading toward Semarang reached 363,662 vehicles (up 125.28% from the normal 161,429 vehicles). Meanwhile, vehicles leaving Semarang totaled 109,644 vehicles (down 26.84% from the normal 149,866 vehicles).

b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
Traffic toward Solo reached 401,043 vehicles (up 78.74% from the normal 224,367 vehicles). Meanwhile, traffic toward Jakarta reached 152,402 vehicles (down 14.95% from the normal 179,192 vehicles).

East Java Region
a. Warugunung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading toward Surabaya reached 226,495 vehicles (up 13.98% from the normal 198,718 vehicles), while traffic toward Jakarta reached 240,821 vehicles (up 27.83% from the normal 188,385 vehicles).

b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
A total of 243,604 vehicles were recorded heading toward Malang (up 6.99% from the normal 227,682 vehicles), and 236,459 vehicles heading toward Surabaya (down 1.98% from the normal 241,230 vehicles).

c. Singosari Toll Gate
Vehicles heading toward Malang reached 131,094 vehicles (up 0.37% from the normal 130,612 vehicles), while traffic toward Surabaya reached 122,780 vehicles (up 1.21% from the normal 121,318 vehicles).

PT JTT urges Trans Java toll road users to prioritize safety, plan their journeys properly, ensure that both vehicles and drivers are in prime condition, and ensure sufficient fuel and electronic toll card balance before traveling.
