High Mobility, 707 Thousand Vehicles Dominate Return Traffic at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate
Cikampek (01/04) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded that return traffic from the eastern part of the Trans Java region heading toward Jakarta remains high up to H+10 of the Eid al-Fitr 1447H period. During the period from Eid Day (H) to H+10 (March 21–31, 2026), a total of 707,725 vehicles were recorded traveling toward Jakarta via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate. This figure represents a significant increase of 128.31% compared to normal traffic of 309,987 vehicles.
Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, “Based on traffic data for the H-10 to H+10 period (March 11–31, 2026), a total of 883,790 vehicles from the eastern Trans Java region were recorded, an increase of 50.96% compared to normal traffic of 585,432 vehicles,” explained Ria.
Ria added, “Meanwhile, vehicles traveling toward the eastern Trans Java region via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate reached 372,011 vehicles, an increase of 20.35% compared to normal traffic of 309,109 vehicles,” said Ria.
The increase in traffic volume was also observed across several toll road sections managed by the JTT Group in Central Java and East Java.
Central Java Region
a. Kalikangkung Toll Gate
Vehicles leaving Semarang reached 448,606 (up 167.93% from the normal 167,435 vehicles). Meanwhile, vehicles heading toward Semarang reached 202,091 (up 17.96% from the normal 171,325 vehicles).
b. Banyumanik Toll Gate
Traffic heading toward Jakarta reached 468,002 vehicles (up 127.89% from the normal 205,366 vehicles). Meanwhile, traffic toward Solo reached 329,529 vehicles (up 32.97% from the normal 247,821 vehicles).
East Java Region
a. Warugunung Toll Gate
Vehicles heading toward Jakarta reached 311,351 (up 51.22% from the normal 205,893 vehicles), while traffic toward Surabaya reached 346,575 (up 57.26% from the normal 220,379 vehicles).
b. Kejapanan Utama Toll Gate
A total of 390,561 vehicles were recorded heading toward Surabaya (up 43.78% from the normal 271,644 vehicles), and 360,568 vehicles heading toward Malang (up 41.48% from the normal 254,859 vehicles).
c. Singosari Toll Gate
Vehicles heading toward Surabaya reached 216,870 (up 53.74% from the normal 141,065 vehicles), while traffic toward Malang reached 200,049 (up 36.41% from the normal 146,651 vehicles).
PT JTT urges toll road users on the Trans Java network to continue prioritizing safety, plan their journeys properly, ensure that both vehicle and driver are in optimal condition, and ensure sufficient fuel and electronic money balance before traveling.
