Increased Vehicle Mobility on Semarang ABC Section, JTT Records Traffic Growth
Semarang (15/03) – In line with the increasing vehicle mobility towards the eastern Trans Java region, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) continues to conduct intensive monitoring of traffic conditions on the Semarang Toll Road Section A, B, C. Based on traffic data collected from several toll gates in the Semarang area, vehicle volume has shown an increase compared to normal traffic conditions over the past two days.
Senior Manager Representative Office 2 of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol Toll Road Section, M. Faried Sulitamtama, stated that the increase in vehicle mobility has begun to be observed on the Semarang Toll Road Section A, B, C over the past two days. “On Friday (13/03), the total number of vehicles passing through the Semarang ABC Section was recorded at 120,251 vehicles, an increase of 9.89% compared to the normal traffic volume of 109,518 vehicles. Meanwhile, on Saturday (14/03), the vehicle volume was recorded at 116,958 vehicles or an increase of 10.51% compared to the normal traffic volume of 105,831 vehicles,” said Faried.
Faried added that the increase in vehicle volume indicates a growing level of public mobility passing through the Semarang area, particularly as one of the main corridors connecting traffic flows towards the eastern Trans Java region.
The traffic data represents the accumulation of vehicles passing through toll gates in the Semarang area, including Krapyak 1 Toll Gate, Krapyak 2 Toll Gate, Manyaran Toll Gate, Tembalang Toll Gate, Gayamsari Toll Gate, Muktiharjo Toll Gate, Jatingaleh 1 Toll Gate, Jatingaleh 2 Toll Gate, Srondol Toll Gate, Banyumanik Toll Gate, and Kalikangkung Toll Gate.
Meanwhile, Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the increase in traffic reflects the growing mobility of the public passing through the Semarang area. “We continue to monitor traffic conditions at all toll gates in the Semarang area and ensure operational readiness to maintain smooth travel for road users,” said Ria.
Ria added that JTT remains committed to providing the best services for toll road users. “We ensure that all operational services, both transaction services at toll gates and traffic services on the field, continue to operate optimally to maintain the comfort and safety of road users,” explained Ria.
JTT also urges all road users to plan their journeys properly, ensure sufficient electronic money balance before entering the toll road, and comply with traffic signs and instructions from officers on duty for mutual safety and comfort.
