Return Traffic Remains High, 670 Thousand Vehicles Pass Through Cikampek Utama Toll Gate up to H+8

Cikampek (31/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded that return traffic from the eastern part of the Trans Java region heading toward Jakarta remains high up to H+9 of the Eid al-Fitr 1447H period. During the period from Eid Day (H) to H+9 (March 21–30, 2026), a total of 670,470 vehicles were recorded traveling toward Jakarta via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate. This figure represents a significant increase of 135.77% compared to normal traffic of 284,375 vehicles.

Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated, “Based on traffic data for the H-10 to H+9 period (March 11–30, 2026), a total of 846,535 vehicles from the eastern Trans Java region were recorded, an increase of 51.22% compared to normal traffic of 559,820 vehicles. Meanwhile, based on shift 1 data on March 31, 2026, 10,607 vehicles were recorded, an increase of 36.18% compared to normal traffic of 7,789 vehicles. These figures indicate that the return flow from the eastern Trans Java region is still ongoing,” explained Ria.

Ria added, “Following the end of the Eid al-Fitr 1447H homecoming and return period, JTT continues to optimize services at the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate by operating 17 toll booths for Jakarta-bound traffic and 13 toll booths for traffic heading toward Java. In addition, through PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang, JTT continues to implement a 23% toll discount for all transactions on the Batang–Semarang Toll Road, valid until March 31, 2026. This policy is expected to provide direct benefits to road users while also helping to distribute traffic flow,” said Ria.

Meanwhile, vehicles traveling toward the eastern Trans Java region via Cikampek Utama Toll Gate reached 340,444 vehicles, an increase of 20.26% compared to normal traffic of 283,095 vehicles.
