1447 H/2026 Eid al-Adha Holiday, Semarang ABC Toll Road Supports Community Mobility for Tourism and Family Gatherings

Semarang (27/05) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded that traffic movement during the 1447 H/2026 Eid al-Adha holiday period on the Semarang Toll Road Sections A, B, and C continued to be dominated by local tourism activities and family visits to Semarang City and its surrounding areas.

Based on the traffic evaluation following the Gombel Lama traffic diversion on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, traffic volume on the Semarang ABC Toll Road reached 71,990 vehicles. Meanwhile, traffic volume recorded at Tembalang Toll Gate was 2,105 vehicles, Jatingaleh 1 Toll Gate recorded 4,082 vehicles, and Srondol Toll Gate recorded 5,025 vehicles.

Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that travel patterns during this year's Eid al-Adha holiday period were predominantly characterized by short-distance travel and local tourism within Semarang and its surrounding areas.

“The Eid al-Adha long holiday has encouraged people to travel for local tourism, family gatherings, and visits to urban areas as well as recreational destinations around Semarang. This is reflected in the traffic movement at several key access points along the Semarang ABC Toll Road, where traffic conditions have remained smooth with travel primarily driven by tourism and family visits,” said Ria.

Travel to popular tourist destinations such as Bandungan, Ungaran, the Simpang Lima area of Semarang, Kota Lama, as well as destinations toward Solo and Yogyakarta, also contributed to the increase in traffic movement across Semarang and its surrounding areas.

Ria added that JTT continues to ensure optimal operational services through the readiness of transaction service personnel, traffic service teams, and real-time road condition monitoring via Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS).

“JTT encourages all road users to continue prioritizing safety while traveling for tourism or family gatherings. Please ensure that your vehicle is in good condition, your electronic money card has sufficient balance, and make use of the Travoy application to access real-time traffic information and toll road services,” Ria concluded.
