Cikampek Utama Toll Gate Services Return to Normal Following One Way Termination

Cikampek (20/03) – PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has normalized operational services at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT Cikampek Utama) following the termination of the national one way traffic scheme previously implemented to support the smooth flow of Idulfitri 1447H/2026 homecoming traffic.

With the conclusion of the traffic engineering scheme, transaction services at GT Cikampek Utama have now resumed normal operations with a total of 30 toll booths serving two directions, consisting of 15 booths toward Trans Java and 15 booths toward Jakarta.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that this normalization was carried out gradually after traffic conditions were observed to have returned to a controlled state in both directions. “With the normalization of toll booth operations at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate, we expect transaction processes for road users to run more smoothly, and traffic distribution both toward the eastern Trans Java region and from the eastern Trans Java region can be optimally served,” said Ria.

As part of operational readiness in anticipating the increase in return flow traffic during Idulfitri 1447H/2026, JTT has also prepared the operation of Cikampek Utama 8 Toll Gate (Cikatama 8), which functions as an additional toll gate to support smooth vehicle transactions, particularly for traffic coming from the Trans Java direction.

Ria added, “Cikampek Utama 8 Toll Gate is located at KM 71 B of the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road toward Jakarta, approximately 1 km before Cikampek Utama 2 Toll Gate. This toll gate has 5 booths dedicated to serving transactions for non-bus Group I vehicles. GT Cikatama 8 serves as an alternative payment gate for travel from Cirebon toward Bandung, Karawang, and Jakarta. It is expected that the situational operation of GT Cikampek Utama 8 will help facilitate the return flow of Idulfitri 1447H/2026 traffic,” explained Ria.

Cikampek Utama Toll Gate is one of the main traffic nodes connecting the Greater Jakarta area with the Trans Java Toll Road network. Therefore, the operational management of toll booths and the readiness of additional facilities such as Cikatama 8 are part of JTT’s efforts to ensure smooth traffic flow at this strategic point.

JTT urges all toll road users to remain cautious while driving, maintain safe distances, and ensure sufficient electronic toll card balance before entering the toll road. Road users are also expected to follow instructions from officers on site and comply with applicable traffic signs.
