Traffic Gradually Returns to Normal, Contraflow KM 70–47 Towards Jakarta Stopped, JTT Optimizes Toll Booths at Cikampek Utama

Cikampek (29/03) – As traffic conditions gradually return to normal during the Eid al-Fitr 1447H/2026 return flow period, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT), in coordination with the Police, has stopped the contraflow traffic engineering from KM 70 to KM 47 towards Jakarta on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road at 01:08 WIB early morning under Police discretion, while optimizing toll booth operations at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate to maintain smooth traffic flow.

However, the local one way traffic scheme is still in effect from KM 263 of the Pejagan–Pemalang Toll Road to KM 70 of Cikampek Utama Toll Gate on the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road to anticipate the increase in vehicle volume heading towards Jakarta.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the adjustment of traffic engineering is carried out dynamically according to field conditions. “The termination of contraflow was conducted after joint evaluation with the Police indicated that traffic conditions had become more controlled. However, we continue to anticipate the surge of vehicles from the eastern direction by maintaining the local one way scheme. Therefore, we urge road users to monitor traffic conditions through the real-time CCTV feature on the Travoy application and to follow instructions from officers on site,” said Ria.

To support smooth transactions and reduce congestion at the toll gate, JTT has optimized the operation of 22 toll booths towards Jakarta and 8 toll booths towards eastern Trans Java at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate. This measure is aimed at accelerating transaction processes and ensuring continuous vehicle flow towards Jakarta.

JTT urges all Trans Java toll road users to plan their journeys carefully, ensure that both vehicle and driver are in prime condition, maintain a safe distance, and ensure sufficient electronic toll balance before entering the toll road.
